Today ?. Such a day

A sad day in paradise

A friend of mine left today

Taking his own life

He ask me if anything would change

If he left here today

Knowing I couldn?t stop him

I didn?t know what to say

As we sat and watched time go by

My thoughts became his

And his became mine

Together, forever, and throughout time

The time has come

He said

The time for me to go

And he shot himself dead.
